Please let us know about your experience with Neptune Society of Northern California. If for any reason you were dissatisfied with the service, please let us know, so we may work to resolve any short comings.

My 89-year-old mother recently passed away. I cannot say enough good things about how the Neptune Society treated my family throughout this difficult time. The entire process of having my mother’s remains cremated, obtaining the death certificate, choosing the urn with the proper dimensions that the church specified to have my mom’s remains placed in its prayer garden, etc. were all handled by the Neptune Society. An extremely difficult task was made so much easier. I especially want to thank Noel who was extremely helpful and lived up to every promise made. I highly recommend Neptune Society. I will miss my mother who was a loving, caring, thoughtful person and a fantastic mother. And my mom’s last act of selflessness was to have made prior arrangements for her remains with the Neptune Society decades before she actually passed.

I wish to thank the Neptune Society for the assistance and attention to detail during an extremely difficult time. The Neptune Society warrants a 5-star review.

Sincerely,

Kurt K

We dealt with Faith who was most professional and really went the extra mile when we needed help. All of the staff we were in contact with were very caring for the people we first spoke with on the phone to the ones who arrived late at night to pick up our mother. I would highly recommend them.

I don’t even know where to begin. Amanda was amazing and went above and beyond in assisting me during an incredibly difficult time. I will always be very grateful to her for her care and support.

Losing someone you love is hard enough but that can be compounded by funeral costs and stresses. I felt no pressure and she knew exactly what It was that I wanted and provided that to me and then some.

Our visits from start to finish were emotional ones and her compassion and empathy made all the difference. She’s a very kind human being and I appreciate everything she did to help me during this time.

As a member of the United States Marine Corps and having to deal with many military funeral honors, I was extremely bias and very nervous on how the service would be handled for my veteran grandfather when he passed away. I am currently stationed in North Carolina and although so far away, Kelly Wylie made it seem as though I was right across the street. She made this evolution extremely seamless and as it was a very hard and emotional time for myself, my mother and grandmother, she not only provided sound guidance but moral support and a true sense of genuine compassion. She was an ear to talk to, she was available any time for my family and she kept in contact with us throughout the entire process. This death in our family took a huge toll on all of us, but Kelly really helped pull us through and picked us up together. Words are powerless to express my gratitude. The Neptune Society was absolutely wonderful and the services rendered will never be forgotten.

After a long illness, my father-in-law recently died. We all thought we were prepared but while we had made pre-arrangements with the Neptune Society, we were overwhelmed with grief.

Their staff was so professional and caring it made the experience seamless. Family flew in from around the country. We met at Pier 39. The boat was spotless. The crew remarkable. The service quite lovely.

Thank you so much.

My dad passed away last month, and we called the Neptune Society in Castro Valley because the Stockton branch had handled my in-laws so efficiently and sensitively.  Everyone connected with the office was compassionate, knowledgeable and efficient.  The man who came to pick up my dad dealt with the family in such a kind and dignified manner.  I spoke with Dayna the following day and set up an appointment for my mother and me to come and discuss arrangements.  I had told her during the phone conversation what kind of low-key guy my dad was and she said she would get everything together and recommend a package for us.  Dayna was so professional and classy!  There was absolutely no high pressure, she arranged for everything we wanted and the paperwork was all written up and ready for my mother to sign.  The costs were very reasonable and she had no objections whatsoever about us providing our own urn.  My mother was so grateful and pleased about the smoothness of the entire transaction because it made what is undoubtedly an unpleasant experience and time of life a little easier.  I highly recommend this office and will definitely use their services again when the need arises.  Thank you all!

My wife and I just purchased these plans as a service to our kids…they now know what our wishes are for all 4 kids to see clearly and everything is paid for in advance. Whereas, I hope to have another good 10 years…life/death is unpredictable. A friend is registered with NS but didn’t buy the prepaid cremation service, as we did. She said her next of kin could pay at that time out of the inheritance. My observation…it doesn’t matter how much they will eventually get…what if they don’t have enough money when you pass and it takes a month to get any money that doesn’t help…We travel- so it includes pre-paid shipping us home from anywhere in the world. Good rep.

When my dad found out that his cancer had returned and it was stage 4 we were not sure how much time he had left. He was never one to plan things out and I knew we needed to talk about his final wishes. I had had experience with the Neptune Society in the past and discussed that with him. We felt that would be the best course of action. I called and spoke to Amanda at that time and she took down some information and told me when I needed her just to call. My dad fought his battle 8 months and just recently passed away. It truly was comforting to know that all I had to do was make a phone call. Amanda made my sad circumstances as comfortable as she could. She was personable and professional and I appreciate all the help and guidance that she gave in taking care of my dad’s final wishes.

We just left the Novato office…Michelle Farley was awesome! She felt like part of the family making the decisions with us.
Can’t say enough good things, the process went smoothly and I didn’t feel like we were being “sold” services… thank you !!!!

When my mother-in-law passed away suddenly, we reached out to the Neptune Society because we had purchased a burial plan from them many years ago. With only one phone call in the middle of the night, everything was rapidly taken care of. We didn’t know what to expect but within a short time Elijah Luke arrive to pick up her body and his service was outstanding. He was so compassionate, caring and thoughtful during this very sad time for us. Shortly afterward we were contacted by Amanda Kostenko, from the Neptune Society’s local office. She too was outstanding. She took us through the process step-by-step with extraordinary care and patience. She was outstanding as well. We highly recommend the Neptune Society. We could not have been more pleased.
